A home inspection is a visual inspection of the house's physical structure and mechanical systems, including the roof, ceilings, walls, cabinets, drawers, faucets, floors, windows and doors. The inspection also includes the functionality of major appliances, heating and air-conditioning system, plumbing and electrical. The goal of the inspection is to uncover operational and safety concerns of the home itself.
You will receive a complete report (pdf format via email) within 24 hours of the inspection.
A 4-point home inspection is an analysis of the well-being of your home. It’s known as a 4-point inspection because it examines four major systems: roof, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Many insurance companies require this inspection before you can get or maintain home insurance coverage.
A wind mitigation report informs the insurance company of a home's construction in order to determine its stability in the event of strong winds. A homeowner with windstorm insurance can often submit the results of this report to their insurer and obtain discounts on their windstorm insurance.
A pool and spa inspection will assess major components of the pool and spa's visible plumbing, electrical, and functionality.
