LeVar Burton is a household name to anyone who was ever fortunate enough to watch Reading Rainbow. He continues his quest to promote literacy through his “LeVar Burton Reads” podcast.

Josh Gad, voice of Olaf the Snowman in the Frozen movies, has taken to reading live to anyone who wants to watch on Twitter and Instagram. (You'll need an account on one of those programs to watch.)

Author Mo Willems now has a series of videos called “Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems!” There are a series of them, and he’s a recognizable author for students.

Author Eric Carle reading his book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar on YouTube. This is an immediately recognizable title for many kids and their families.

The Newark Public Library offers live story time at 11 AM and 2 PM. The link here is for their YouTube channel, but it's also available on Facebook Live.

The We Are Teachers site has a post up entitled "The Big List of Children's Authors Doing Online Read-Alouds & Activities". It's a bunch of different options for students in elementary through high school.
