January 7, 2026 - 6:00pm - Mandatory Parent meeting.
February 20, 2026 - Roommate forms are due.
March 6, 2026 - All forms must be turned in by this date.
March 6, 2026 - All medications must be turned in to the School Nurse by a parent or guardian, students cannot carry medications into school.

Hello families of Eighth Grade Students!
We will be continuing the Sage Park trip to Washington, DC for 4 days/3 nights again this year at a cost of $800. This year the trip will be run by Academic and Performance Travel. They have put together a package that includes all the frequently visited attractions, a dinner at Dave and Buster’s, and the majority of other meals.
A preliminary itinerary has been developed, but will likely be tweaked up until and even during the trip. This is very normal as we will work to maximize our time in the Capitol for the best trip possible.
Currently, we are working to create and hold several fundraisers to help defray the cost of the trip. Some of the things we have planned include:

Lyman Orchards Pies in time for Thanksgiving
To benefit from the fundraisers a student or family must participate in fundraising in some way. This may mean selling pies, popcorn or volunteering to help with distribution of fundraisers.
We hope every student will participate in the trip this year as the fundraising should help families decrease the cost considerably. The cost of the trip this year will depend on the number of students per bus. If we can fill the buses with 48 students per bus, the cost will be $800.00. Travel insurance is not included in the amount. We strongly suggest and recommend that everyone purchases trip cancellation insurance. Specifically, trip cancellation insurance that has the option to add “Cancel for any reason”. This will help the participant recover some money should they need to cancel for Covid or any other reason. We do not endorse any specific company. Following are two potential agencies you can choose to work with:
Deposits are due no later than September 30, 2025 along with the Academic & Performance Travel Indemnity form, including an indemnity form for the school district that must be notarized. a signed Behavior Expectation form indicating a desire to participate., and a copy of your insurance cards. Other forms will need to be completed prior to leaving for the trip. We will have a notary public available during the parent meeting. You must have a valid picture id to get the District Indemnity form notarized.
