Camera on Chromebook
To access camera go to launch in bottom left corner of Chromebook screen (1) and use search to find and launch camera app. Once there you can choose Photo and use the mouse or enter button to take picture.
To find the pictures:
In camera: Use the gallery icon in bottom right corner of picture.
From home screen: Use launcher & search to go to files. Pictures are saved by default under My Files in Downloads.
EdPuzzle - can't view
You must be logged in through your Windsor gmail account.
Log into Edpuzzle through Google and select the windsor.k12.mo.us account. If it is still is asking for a code or will not show, you may need to make sure your teacher has added you to their Edpuzzle account.
Finding Teacher's Webpage
Teacher's pages can be found in two places. Either at Teacher's Direct Links for teacher who have websites outside the district site or through the High School Website's Teacher page.
Internet not working/websites won't load
Do you have a strong connection? Check the bottom right hand corner for the Wi-Fi symbol. If the signal isn't strong or toggling on and off read the Wi-Fi section below.
Try cleaning your browser. With Chrome open, Go to settings (top right hand corner, three dots, settings is close to bottom of menu), choose Advanced (in menu on the left), Select Privacy & Security, Clear broweing data, Select "All Time."

Lost, Stolen, Broken Chromebooks
Broken?
At school: Bring to the Library
At home: Take to school office. You will recieve a loaner until your can be fixed.
Lost or Stolen: Report as soon as possible to jkuehnle@windsor.k12.mo.us.
No Home Wi-Fi/Internet
You can work on Google docs of offline without accessing the internet, but you will need access to access your assignment sna upload/submit work.
Wi-Fi hotspots are available from the public library. If you don't have a card you'll need to go with a parent.
The other option is using your phone as a hotspot. On the andriod I use, it is under settings/tethering, but all phones are a little different.

On Destop: PrtSc key (next to ALT on right)
Submitting in Classroom
You must upload & attach the work to turn in. Just clicking turn in does not submit the assignment.
If you are submitting a picture or other work, it must be uploaded to Google Drive first. Once you have uploaded the document you can select it in Classroom, under assignment with the + Add or Create button.
OS Missing or Damaged
Ctrl + D (There may be a black screen for up to a minute
Then follow prompts: Press Enter, Space, Enter
Chromebook will reload OS

Trouble submitting photos
If you are having trouble submitting photos:
Are you online?
Have you uploaded to your Windsor google drive? (Are you logged in under Windsor or personal account?
If the system is still rejecting your photo, try inserting them into a google doc and submitting the doc instead.
Wi-Fi issues
Check that you are connected. Click on the Wi-Fi icon at bottom right hand corner. Is the Wi-Fi toggled on? Are you connected to the correct (your local/home network)?
Disconnect & reconnect. Select your network. Disconnect and then try connecting again.
Turn your Chromebook all the way off. Hold the power button for 7 seconds & restart. This will check for updates.
Check to see if other devices will connect? Phone/Tablets? If all devices are having issues, Check your router. You may need to restart your router.
Disable preferred networks. In settings, network, deselct any preferred networks.
