Benefits of Private Art, Music, Dance, & Acting Lessons

• Individual instruction ensures success in any arts discipline and a more enjoyable, fun experience! It allows your child to learn at their specific pace and each session goes beyond the lesson plan and curriculum in the classroom.

• Lessons are taught during the school day eliminating travel time to lessons before school and after school. 

  • Students are not taken to lessons if testing is going on in the classroom and are escorted by the teacher during the school day.

  • Lessons will be taught during a performing arts class or during recess.  This will be based on first come first serve relating to the order of registrations that are received.

• Lessons are taught by degree-professional educators in their discipline who have gone through extensive background checks.

• Parents have direct communications with the student’s private teacher and the Fine Arts Assistant Administrator, Mr. Joe Stone. 

Private lessons are offered to the following;

• Drawing/Painting/Sketching to 4-12 grade students.

• Acting & Voice lessons to 2-12 grade students.

• Dance lessons to PK4-12 grade students. 

• Piano lessons are offered as a single lesson for K-12, or Side-by-Side for PK4 only.  (Piano/Keyboard is required at home.) 

• Violin/Strings lessons to 1-12 grades.  (Students must provide their own instrument.)

• Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, Percussion, Guitar lessons to 5-12 grade students.  (Students must provide their own instrument, or rent a school instrument.) 

2023-2024 PRICING INFORMATION 

13 Lesson Option (Winds, Percussion, Guitar, Voice, Acting, Dance, Drawing/Painting/Sketching):

(1 Semester Package)  

• $546.00, 30-minute lessons for 13 weeks  

• $1092.00, 60 minutes lessons for 13 weeks

26 Lesson Option (Winds, Percussion, Guitar, Voice, Acting, Dance, Drawing/Painting/Sketching):

(Full Year Package)

• $1092.00, 30 minute-lessons for 26 weeks    

• $2184.00, 60-minute lessons for 26 weeks  

26 Lesson Piano Program   

• $1092.00, 30 minute-lessons for 26 weeks 

• $2184.00, 60-minute-lessons for 26 weeks

26 Lesson Side-By-Side Piano Program (PreK4 only)

• $780.00, 30-minute Little Mozarts Side-By-Side for 26 weeks

You may need to pay a small fee or purchase any books, materials, dance attire, or music that might be required for lessons. This fee will not go above $35.00.

WPS FAMILIES, please complete the form link below by the end of the day Friday, August 25, 2023.  Mr. Stone will be in touch soon regarding the lesson schedule.  Your school account will be billed appropriately for lessons.  Private lessons will begin promptly the week of September 11. Studios may fill up quickly.

Make-up Lessons:  We do not make-up lessons for missed lessons. Your total package amount is not affected unless you take a lesson. If a lesson is unable to be attended due to a personal vacation (please give two weeks notice) or sickness (please email your private lesson teacher ASAP, no later than 8:00 a.m. the morning of the lesson). If proper communication is not made with private lesson teachers, this will result in counting towards one of the lessons in your package. If a private teacher is unable to attend a lesson, this does not affect your package total.
