About Mr. Beckley

Hello! My name is Mr. Beckley! I am the principal for the Windber Elementary School.

I was a former student of Windber Area School District. It is great to be back home and working at the school district!

I graduated from Clarion University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. In 2012, I was offered the opportunity to be the Recreation Director for the Windber Community Building and Recreation Park. It was a great experience but, I missed teaching. In 2014, I accepted a 4th-grade teaching position at Forest View Elementary School in Durham, NC. It was an amazing experience! I had an opportunity of a lifetime to come back and teach at my hometown school so I did it! While in North Carolina, I received a Gifted Degree from Duke University and I also received my Master's Degree and Principal Papers from the California University of Pennsylvania.

It is an honor to represent such a fantastic school district and the families that reside here. My ultimate goal for our school is to provide a well-rounded education for your children.
