About Me

My name is Amanda Wissinger and I am entering into my 18th year of teaching for the 2024-25 school year.  I have spent all 18 of my teaching years at Windber.  I taught K4 for 5 years then moved to kindergarten and now I found another home in 2nd grade.   

I love being a Rambler and being able to teach in a small town like Windber!  I have 2 daughers, Reyce (Reese) and Kalle (Kallie).  Reyce is 13 years-old and in 8th grade this year.  She loves anything Social Media, her Volleyball Teams,  and being with friends!  Kalle is 7 and is a crazy wild child.  She loves singing, baby dolls and being with friends!  My husband's name is Bill and we have been married since 2009.   

Some of my favorite things would be the color magenta, riding bikes, reading and watching Reyce and Kalle play sports.
