Stop the spread of misinformation! Let those close to you know the pros of affordable housing so that they can support it, too. Elect representatives that also support the issue and will advocate for it. Vote to approve an affordable housing proposal if it comes to an election. 

A household is considered low-income if it makes less than 80 percent of the normal income in the local area. For example, a family of three with an income with 48,000 dollars is considered very low income. 

Actually, no! There's no doubt Massachusetts needs more housing - but some towns need more affordable housing, like Chelsea and Winchester, while others need more high end places, such as Fitchburg. 

The Massachusetts workforce is leaving, because they can't afford to live here anymore. People ages 26-35 are the largest group leaving MA, and we need people these ages to complete jobs. Homelessness levels rise, and young families are blocked out of the housing market.
