We would like to thank applicants who reached out to us regarding the mentee application deadline. Following this feedback, we realised that the deadline information on the website and application form did not specify a timezone, which may have led to different interpretations across regions.

To ensure a fair and inclusive application process for our global community, we have decided to reopen the mentee application form for 24 hours. Applications will now be accepted until 4 September 2026, 11:59 PM GMT+1 (UK Summer Time).

We appreciate your understanding and thank everyone for their interest in the WiML Mentorship Program!

The goal of this program is to provide mentorship to early-career women and non-binary people studying and/or working in machine learning and AI. The program will run between September 2026 and May 2027. Application deadlines are indicated in the "Timeline" section.

We will have two cohorts of mentees and we are also looking for mentors:

• Mentees for this program are Post-graduate degree applicants and Post-Master's/post-Ph.D. industry job seekers.

• Mentors for this program are all (women, nonbinary, allies) individuals with experience & availability to participate!

Your submitted information will be shared with WiML Organizers and the WiML Board. You will also be asked for consent to contribute aggregated, anonymized data to WiML reports and publicity.
