Grading Policy for Health:

Students are graded on the following scale.

E for excellent

S for satisfactory

U for unsatisfactory

Each student’s grade for health is calculated using a points system.


STRIDE Expectations:


  • Arrive on time and prepared for class
  • Participate
  • Be respectful and supportive
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and sense of cooperation
  • One person speaks at a time


Class assignments:

  • Includes all in-class activities and assignments


Daily Health Reflections:=DHR

  • Health journal for note-taking and reflections of essential questions

Tobacco and Its Effects on the body

including E-Cigarettes (Vaping)


Puberty/Adolescence


Alcohol and Its Effects on the mind, body, and behavior


Resisting internal/external pressures to

alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs


Marijuana and its effects on the mind, body, and behavior


Internet Safety with School Resource Officer


Inhalant Abuse and its effects on the mind,

body, and behavior


Lyme Disease
