What are artifacts?
Artifacts are the documents and media that you choose to include in your ePortfolio to show your audience who you are and what you have accomplished. They provide your audience with evidence of your skills, experiences, and knowledge. Anything you have created or experienced during your time at Wilton High School can be used as an artifact in your ePortfolio!
Examples of artifacts include but are not limited to projects, essays, videos, lab reports, photos, Google Sites, etc. You can select artifacts from a range of curricular and co-curricular experiences, such as courses, clubs, activities, hobbies, internships, service work, summer study programs, and leadership positions.

What are the attributes
of the Vision of a Learner (VOL)?
Wilton Public Schools' Vision of a Learner represents our vision for the 21st century skills, traits, and attributes that our students need to succeed in college, career and life. You have been developing these attributes as a student of Wilton High School.
These are the six attributes of the Vision of a Learner:
What does the Vision of a Learner have to do with the ePortfolio?
In your ePortfolio, you need to include artifacts that reflect each of the attributes of the Vision of a Learner. For each artifact, you will write a reflection that explains how the artifact represents one of skills listed in the Vision of a Learner. Choose the attribute that most closely connected with your experience in creating the artifact.

Here are some guiding questions (and sentence stems) to consider using to craft your reflection:
What is the artifact? (“This artifact is…” OR “This artifact was created…”)
How does this artifact reflect this specific "attribute" from the Wilton Public Schools' Vision of a Learner (VOL)? Be sure to identify the "attribute" and explain how your artifact is a reflection of it. (“This artifact reflects….attribute because… “ OR “This artifact is related to the...VOL attribute because…”)
Why is this artifact important to me? (“This is important to me because…” OR “I chose to include this artifact because…” OR “I am proud of this artifact because…”)
