As a general rule, students in 8th grade should have 70-80 minutes of homework per night. If your student feels that they are spending considerably more than that, please let us know and we can provide strategies for them. Students should find a place to work that is void of major distractions, place their phone in another room and take breaks as they go! A paper planner or calendar is really helpful for planning time effectively and for tracking workload!
