I am Mrs. Hayes and I am thrilled to be the principal at VBS! This is my 21st year in education and my 11th year as a school administrator.

My hobbies include spending as much time as possible with my kids and grandkids, singing and playing the piano. I have four children and 4 (plus one on the way) grandchildren.

I believe that every child has an opportunity to be successful, and I love that I get to be a small part of the success of our students. Nothing is more fulfilling than watching students that I taught become successful in life. I believe that we have to make every single day count, and seek out the best in every person and situation.

I count it an honor and a privilege to serve the Vinson-Bynum community and I look forward to a wonderful school year!
