Class Overview
All students at New Hope Elementary have music class weekly. In class, we focus on singing, movement, instruments and collaboration! Lessons are based on the NC Essential Standards for Music.

About me
My name is Sara Bennington. I am excited to be in my second year teaching at New Hope Elementary! I have always loved music, including playing in band in high school and college, singing, and playing guitar. I also write and record songs. I enjoy teaching all of the wonderful students at New Hope, including my two nephews. I have two grown children who live on the West Coast. So, if I am not in North Carolina, I am probably there!
In addition to music class, 4th and 5th grade students at New Hope have the opportunity to participate in a Show Chorus Club this year and will also have the opportunity to try out for special events such as Whirlikidz in the winter and All County Chorus in the spring.
