Student News puts you, the students, in charge of delivering the morning announcements and other fun and important school information! A select number of 4th and 5th grade students will be chosen to participate. Students will be expected to report to the Media Center on their given days to record the day’s announcements using the green screen. They will then use their news footage to create a news segment that can be livestreamed to all classrooms. Team members must be able to be at school by 7:40 AM on the days that they are scheduled to anchor. They must also demonstrate the highest levels of self-discipline, respect and time management (model behavior, good digital citizenship, ability to meet daily deadlines, etc.). Students who do not demonstrate proficiency in these skills will be removed from the team.
