Juniors and Seniors - Prom tickets are now on sale for $40. The price increases each month. Pay online or pay Mrs. Wheeler. Prom is April 12.
IB Exams will be May 5 - 15
The IB Pinning Ceremony for Seniors and their families is Monday, May 19 at 6:30 in the Fike Media Center.
Fike's chapter of the YMCA Youth and Government Organization had the privilege of touring the NC Legislative building. Wilson native and NC Representative Dante Pittman, is also a Fike graduate as well as being a former Fike IB student. Pictured to the left is Representative Pittman with Mrs. Wheeler and IB students Cian and Aidan Bonnor, Parker Gibson, Camryn Wiggs, Ridley Harrison, and Kaden Biamby.
The YAG organization is pictured above with Representative Dante Pittman. When he was a student at Fike, Rep. Pittman was an active member of the YAG organization and the IB Program.
Representative Pittman gave the students a wonderful explanation of how state government works. His message centered around working together for the common good, no matter our political party preference.

Yaretzi Barrera Garcia has been nominated by her teachers as displaying the traits of an open-minded student. She works well with her peers and recognizes the need to understand multiple perspectives. Yaretzi has embraced her heritage and is excited to conduct research for her Extended Essay on how the Catholic religion has influenced the culture of Latin America. In the picture on the left, she is comically portraying a perspective of how both the English and Spanish languages can be butchered!!! Congratulations Yaretzi!
