This past summer, we had one EL classroom. Students improved on their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through direct language instruction, group and partner activities, and hands-on science and art projects. We focused a lot on math problem-solving and how to solve problems in different ways. Students explained through speaking, drawing, and numbers.
