About Me

My name is Molly Chlum and I am very excited to be a fourth grade ELA and Social Studies teacher at Lakeview! This will be my ninth year of teaching. Previously, I taught two years of Special Education, two years of third grade, and this will be my fifth year of teaching fourth grade. I graduated from Carthage College in 2012 with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Cross-Categorical Special Education. Then in 2016, I graduated from Lipscomb University with a Masters of Education in English Language Acquisition.

On a more personal level, I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago with my parents and five siblings. We are now scattered over 4 states but still just as close! I am an aunt to five nephews and one niece that I adore. Throughout high school and college I ran track and field, and still enjoy exercising. In my spare time I also enjoy reading, cooking, eating ice cream :) and spending time with my friends and family.

I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year!
