What Do School Counselors Do?
Provide solution-focused individual meetings
Mediate small group conflict resolution
Provide monthly classroom guidance lessons
Collaborate with parents, teachers and administrators to achieve solutions for struggling students
Provide school and community resources to students and families
Refer families to community resources, as needed
