Students are using a website called Typing Club, which keeps track of their progress, so there is no log to complete. I will be checking the Typing Club website to monitor your child’s progress. For homework, students will be practicing and completing lessons 1-42. The recommendation is that students practice 15 minutes per night, 5 nights a week, over the next three weeks using the timeline below.

•Week 1: Lessons 1-19, which will focus on home row review and the upper row letters.

•Week 2: Lessons 20-32, which will focus on lower row letters and overall letter review.

•Week 3: Lessons 33-42, which will focus on overall letter review and using the Shift key.

If your child finishes the lessons for the week and wants more practice, they can go back and attempt to earn more “stars” for that week’s lessons. After week 3, students may continue to practice using the remaining lessons in Typing Club throughout the school year.
