Welcome to 4th Grade!
Welcome to 4th Grade!
Meet Ms. Elliott!
This is my 16th year at Romona and my 22nd year in education. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature and Communication Studies from the University of Kansas. Shortly after earning my undergraduate degrees, I transitioned into teaching and earned my Master of Science in Education through the Kansas City Teaching Fellows program. In 2012, I became a National Board Certified Teacher.
Over the years, I’ve taught first grade for nine years, served as a reading intervention specialist for one year, and have now found my home in fourth grade—a role I absolutely love.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, traveling, and making memories with friends and family. I live in Glenview with my two children, who are in 6th and 12th grade. We also have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Hank and Wilson—you’ll definitely be hearing about them throughout the year!
I’m so excited to be part of your final year at Romona. I promise to support every student in our classroom and work to make this a positive, memorable, and successful year. We’re going to have a fantastic time learning and growing together!
