Founded in 1984, Science Olympiad is the premier team STEM competition in the nation, providing standards-based challenges to 6,300 teams at 425 tournaments in all 50 states.
District 39 Science Olympiad Team
The 6th-8th grade D39 Science Olympiad team began in 2013 and has experienced continued success with top-placing teams across a variety of events. Each year, District 39 aims to have students compete at invitational and regional competitions around the Chicago area between December and March. Qualifying teams compete at a state tournament in April.
