Lead Carpenter 

Job type: Full time or Part time                    Number of positions available: 1

Pay: $25+/hour (Based on experience)

Our Lead Carpenter will work in a range of different settings, but most jobs will include duties such as taking measurements, drawing up plans for proposed works, sourcing materials, preparing estimates and undertaking site visits. We are looking for a candidate with a combination of qualifications and practical experience including:

• Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work

• Installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation.

• Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures

• Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the customer’s budget and style.

• Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job

• Liaising with clients, suppliers and other construction professionals.

• Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations.

• Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns.

• Ensuring the job site is clean, safe, and secure.

Landscape/Laborer/Maintenance Technician 

Job type: Full time or Part time                                Number of positions available: 2

Pay: $18-22+/hour (Based on experience)

We are looking for motivated and  skilled individuals, able to work with a team, perform a wide variety of landscape functions related to construction and/or the care and maintenance of residential properties. Experience preferred but willing to train the right individual. Must have a valid driver's license and a way to get to work daily.
