Welcome to the Start of the 2025-2026 School Year!
Dear Willmar Middle School Families,
We are excited to share that we have had a wonderful start to the school year—things are already in full swing! It has been great to see the energy and enthusiasm our students bring to the building each day.
One highlight we are especially proud of is the incredible student participation in co-curricular activities this fall. We have 311 students involved, representing an 8% increase from last year. From athletics to music, clubs, and leadership opportunities, it’s inspiring to see our students discover new passions, build friendships, and contribute to the strong sense of community at WMS.
Thank you for all you do to partner with us in making Willmar Middle School a place where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to do their best. We are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead!
Principal Miley

Countdown to Success!
With the help and input of our staff and students, we’ve added a countdown clock to all hallway monitors to let everyone know when the next class begins. This simple change has been a real game-changer for staying on time and prepared. A big shout-out goes to
Lisa Wendlandt, WMS Technology Specialist, for making the technical side of this project a reality—
Thank you, Mrs. Wendlandt!
