Do not throw it under your bed and not look at it for 3 months. Take private lessons, consider going to music camp. Plan some time with your orchestra buddies to play duets, trios, or old concert music.

People renting from the school, your instruments are required to stay at school unless we work out something with your parents.

People renting from Popplers and Eckroth, you will continue paying for the monthly rental throughout the summer. That means you are in charge of the instrument for the whole summer.

What needs to be done with the instruments.

Get a new set of strings put on your instrument (I can do this for you)

Get your bow rehaired by the music store. Poppoers, eckroth

Get a restock on rosin, shoulder rests, humidifiers, rockstops

Have the music store look over your instrument and make sure everything is good.
