*NOTE: In the case of any absences, students will have two times the equivalent number of class days to make up any math work missed upon return to the classroom. For example, if a student misses three class days, that student will then have six class days to make up that work before it will be marked as late.
Math Class Procedures
Be on Time
Be Prepared
Be Respectful
Sixth grade brings an additional level of responsibility. As this pertains to math class, students are expected to arrive to class on time. Students are also expected to be prepared for class. This means that any and all materials (pencils, notebook, and homework) should be present and accounted for at the start of the class period. Students will be respectful of learning time. We have a LOT of material to cover this year. Our academic goals will not be met unless each student holds him/herself accountable to use each class period wisely. Please reach out if any clarification is needed. Parents will be contacted if a student has any difficulty meeting these expectations.
