I am a Professor of Economics and Faculty Affiliate in History at Williams College and a Research Associate with the Davis Center at Harvard. Mostly an economic historian, my research covers a number of development-related questions in late Imperial Russia. I teach a variety of different courses, from introductory economics, to economic history, to the economics of innovation and sports.
I am on sabbatical in 2020-21 and a fellow at the Oakley Center for Humanities and Social Sciences at Williams in the Fall of 2020. Please use email to get in touch!
