Visiting Assistant Professor

Williams College

About Me

I grew up in southeast Iowa where I graduated high school in 2010. I came to Iowa State University to become a secondary mathematics teacher. At the end of my math education program, I participated in a mathematics REU. This research experience inspired me to take my passion for teaching and learning to the college level. In 2014, I enrolled in the PhD program in the Department of Mathematics at ISU where I studied under the supervision of Dr. Leslie Hogben. In 2019, I joined the faculty at Williams College as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. My current research interests include zero forcing, throttling, and the game of Cops and Robbers on graphs. Outside of mathematics, I enjoy camping and hiking in the Berkshires.
