As a multi-faith school we have a legal determination which removes the requirement for our daily act of collective worship to be specific to one religion.
All our daily acts of collective worship are inclusive and ensure pupils' own personal beliefs, whether religious or secular, are respected. Our collective worship sentences do not reference a god and children are not asked to join in.
Our acts of collective worship often begin with:
'Let's be thankful for...' '
Let's take a moment to think about...'
'Let's all remember that...'
A candle is lit while we have our time of reflection and snuffed out at the end.
Children are allowed to respond in ways that are appropriate to them.
