Towards a Future of Fitness Freedom

The fitness industry has the incredible capability to both empower and shame people. In this workshop, we will unpack that dichotomy as well as use the fitness industry as a landscape upon which to discuss how we treat one another. At the end, we will discuss ways we can carve out a new definition of fitness and health as an inclusive and healing practice.

Confronting Racism in the Movement to End Violence

Explore the ways in which gendered violence has been used to perpetuate racism and colonialism and how this has impacted the work to eradicate violence in our communities. The work of women of color activists will be elevated and the community accountability approach to ending violence will be discussed.
Queering Consent

Cishetero relationships rely on dominant sexual scripts that create habits of consent lacking clear communication. What happens when we center queer sexual intimacy, change the script, and create affirmative consent practices out of necessity but modeled for everyone?

Take Back the Night

5PM: Grab & Go Table in Jackson Plaza
6PM: **Event in Cat Cavern
7PM: **Montag Den
The purpose of Take Back the Night is to cultivate a safe space for survivors to speak out about their experience and empower others to raise their voices to condemn sexual violence.
Grab & Go table will be in Jackson Plaza and the reception event will be in Cat Cavern. The night will end in Montag Den with art, journaling, community, and support.
**These events are for survivors and their support networks. We encourage everyone to join us in Jackson Plaza but ask that attendees be aware that the other spaces are specifically for survivors and their supporters.
