Eagles have many opportunities to lead in the Learning Commons-- modeling expectations for other peers, staying on top of CCP coursework, and pitching in to answer the phone or assist in shelving books are all examples of how Eagles demonstrate leadership. Quiz Bowl and Dub-C TV are two unique opportunities for student leadership through the Learning Commons. Please keep scrolling for more information on Learning Commons policies and expectations, Quiz Bowl, and Dub-C TV.
Learning Commons Expectations
Policies and Procedures
Students can have books checked out for two weeks before they begin receiving email notifications that their books are overdue.
After one-two years of a book being overdue, the book will be marked as "lost," and the student will be assigned a fee for the price of the book. Fines follow students through their senior year, at which times students must pay in order to purchase a parking pass or receive a diploma.
All fines should be paid through the front office.
If I am not in the Learning Commons or available to complete a check-out, teachers should direct students to fill in the check-out log located at my Circulation Station before taking the book out of the room.
Students should leave books for check-in on the cart at the Circulation Station.
