Aviation Emergency

Today is the last day of Air Traffic School Emergency Training. You will be tested on what you have learned about handling an emergency in the air. This simulation is designed to evaluate how well you problem solve, work with your flight team, and think under pressure. When you are ready to begin press the timer. You will have 60 minutes to complete the challenge.

1) Find the two airports nearby that are available for landing and review their prefix call signs.

2) Find their locations and wind information

3) Find the course change needed for each location.

4) With the weather and max airspeed calculate the pilot's bearing and ground velocity.

5) Find the minimum time until landing.
