Insects 

• Have no bone

• Have an exoskeleton (eks-oh-skel-uh-tun) a hard outer shell

• 6 legs

• 3 body parts (head, thorax, abdomen)

• Have antenna and many eyes

• Breathe through holes in their exoskeleton

• Most have wings 

• Not all insects go through metamorphosis (a change) (met-uh-mor-fu-sis)
