The Sound Bar is a passion project I decided to make a reality in 2019. Now, in April 2020 I almost have a complete and useable platform ready to go.

What is The Sound Bar?

The goal of The Sound Bar is to change the way Spotify users find and share playlists and to give rising musicians a new outlet to reach potential fans on.

Rather than finding music by genre or mood, The Sound Bar features a unique list of experience-based categories for users to upload and find new playlists. These categories are experience-based because I believe music, especially playlists, creates a different experience for everyone. One playlist, whether it is solely one genre or more, can decorate a multitude of settings or emphasize a spectrum of emotions.

The Sound Bar also features blog posts for rising musicians. Here they can promote themselves, their music, music videos, and up coming shows to a new audience.
