Research and writing assistant

As the Research and Writing Assistant I had the opportunity to learn about the social economic issues in the Scranton--Wilkes-Barre area in great detail. In my position, I was responsible for writing the narrative sections for multiple grant applications the organization was seeking to receive.

Many of the applications I contributed to were for programs such as Utility, Heating, and Weatherization Assistance, the Homeless Veteran Re-Integration Program, and programs to help those struggling with food security.

Unfortunately, I was not able to keep any documents to showcase here. But, I can certainly speak in more detail what this writing process entailed in person.

During this internship I also had the great privilege of writing and presenting a proposal for a grant, on behalf of the agency, in Harrisburg, PA.
