ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
This year will begin my 18th year at Wild Rose and 20th year in education, and 5th as Athletic Director. I graduated from Wild Rose High School several years ago. I pursued a Broadfield Social Studies Degree at UW-River Falls. In 2017 I received my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Marian University in Fond du Lac. I have been fortunate to coach many different sports and activities. I am currently the Assistant Cross Country, 8th Grade Girls Basketball, High Quiz Bowl, Ice Fishing, and Middle School Track & Field Coach.
Since 2020 I have completed 5 marathons (26.2 miles) and 7 Half-Marathons. I have a joy and passion for distance running. The feeling you get after a good run, or even a quality run, cannot be replaced. It is also a good opportunity to clear my head and organize my thoughts. If I'm not at school you can probably see me out running around town (I have my favorite routes). I have shared my favorite podcasts here. I also enjoy kayaking, traveling, and jigsaw puzzles (puzzle season is usually Dec-Feb).
Whenever the opportunity presents itself I try to travel and explore places I have never been before. My favorite place to visit in the US is Boise, Idaho. I try to convey my passion for travel and desire to explore other parts of the country with the students. The world is an amazing place, get out there and see it!
RUN THE DAY!
