10th Grade Health

In 10th grade Health this year we have been working on many different subjects that stem from Male/ Female Reproduction, STI's/ STD's, and Emotional/ Mental Health. I have attached some artifacts or activities that we did in class to help understand these units better.

Male/ Female Reproduction

This is a Jeopardy game that I created for the students to help study before our test about the Male and Female Reproduction System.

STI's/ STD's

Here is an activity that I did with the students to demonstrate how easily STI's can spread if abstinence isn't followed.

Emotional/ Mental Health

Attached is a wheel that we did wiht the students to write down their emotions and to help put a color to match those emotions.

7th Grade Health

In 7th grade health so far this year we have talked about Hygiene and did a project where students created poster boards about a certain part of hygiene. We have also talked about emotional health and the importance of understanding your emotions and feelings. The last thing we talked about before the end of the first quarter was Drug use and prevention.

Emotional Health

I have attached a link to a website where I was able to get ideas to talk with students about emotional and mental health. In the link there was scenarios I was able to share to the students about actual events that could happen in their life and have them respond to those scenarios with what they THINK, how they FEEL, and how they would ACT.
