Supporting Wildlife ACT's Mission

Wildlife ACT is a registered non-profit conservation organisation based in South Africa, dedicated to the long-term survival of Africa’s Endangered and Priority species. Founded in 2008, the organisation was established in response to a simple but critical question: how can we protect what we do not understand?

Wildlife ACT delivers professional, science-led wildlife monitoring and conservation support across under-resourced protected areas in South Africa and the Seychelles. Its teams operate year-round, providing free monitoring services that generate the real-time data needed to inform management decisions, support species recovery, and enable rapid response to threats such as poaching, poisoning, snaring, and human-wildlife conflict.

The organisation’s work is grounded in a boots-on-the-ground approach, combining rigorous data collection with practical field intervention, collaboration with conservation authorities, and long-term partnerships with communities and stakeholders. Guided by a clear ethos, Wildlife ACT works towards Thriving Wildlife, Resilient Ecosystems, and Empowered People, ensuring conservation action is informed by data, supported by people, and focused on lasting impact.

The WILD Collection was created as a way to help sustain this work and the people behind it. Sixty percent of the Collection’s profits are donated to Wildlife ACT, contributing to conservation programmes and helping support the staff who carry out this work on the ground.

Through The WILD Collection, supporters are able to contribute to Wildlife ACT in a practical and transparent way, helping ensure that long term conservation efforts can continue where they are needed most.
