Retreats 2026

2026 WILD Heart Teachers is for "staffulty" - anyone who works in our schools who cares that students are seen, heard, and loved. This is a crazy time in our history, and it seems that our educators are continually taking a beating to their heart, mind, soul, and body. WILD Heart Teacher hosts seven, 3+day retreats here in the Rocky Mountains that simply build educators' hearts, minds, souls, relationships, relaxation, and get them ready to continue to change the world!...great food, company, and experiences!!

The net cost is $100. To register it costs $200. We will reimburse $100 to you at the very end of the retreat – as soon as we are through with the final ceremony. You must attend the entire retreat to be reimbursed the $100. Please DO NOT register if you cannot be there the whole retreat. This includes meals, activities, and lodging. Check In is from Noon on Sunday (except for the first retreat…Monday) to 8:30 PM.  It will end at 2:00 PM on the final day.  Please do not book a flight that final day before 4:00 PM out of Colorado Springs.

One thing we’ve done different this year is requiring people to be there on Sunday (Monday the first retreat) as you may have noticed on the dates. This is because we have noticed wonderful connections taking place on that day and those who show up on Monday were simply missing out.  95% of you were showing up on the Sunday before anyway.

10 professional development points will be given to those who attend Wild Heart Teacher.  We will have wonderful speakers who will build us all as staffulty and as human beings.

We are limiting our participants per session to 45 - first come first serve. Because of this and our attempt to keep the price down, there will be no refunds.  Registration opens on January 1, 2026 at midnight eastern time.  We have allowed retirees in the past, but we are getting so full so quickly that active educators are missing out on the opportunity to attend.  We ask that if you are a retiree, please wait until Jan. 15 to register and the cost is different for retirees… $250 (that would be $350 to register because you will get $100 back on the last day). It cost us $450 apiece to put this on so it is still a good deal.

If you are flying in, flying to Colorado Springs is the choice if you would like picked up at the airport. We will have WHT Volunteers pick you up at the airport and deliver you back to the airport after the retreat. Some of you may choose to fly into Denver and take a shuttle to Colorado Springs.  That is not a bad idea, and we would be glad to pick you up in Colorado Springs.

I announced earlier the price change.  I hate doing that but the cost of our new, much nicer camp is much higher, but we will eat most of the cost of that and still need to add $50 to the cost.  $100 is still a pretty good deal.   We know you will enjoy Golden Bell camp!  https://www.goldenbellccc.org
