Overview

The goal of the career research section is to independently investigate different career paths that spark your interest through watching interview videos and completing follow-ups. 

Instructions

For the career research and activities, you will begin by watching Awesome Green Jobs  by Project Learning Tree Canada. Afterwards, you'll pick three interview videos from different categories to watch, from those three categories you will also pick one corresponding follow-up to complete. This work will be completed independently. After completing the research, you will submit at least three questions, stemming from the videos, to ask the professionals at the career panel.

2. Research Career Paths 

The program is divided into six different categories that each reflect a different sector of the Outdoor Industry. While these only make-up a small portion of the millions (yes MILLIONS!) of jobs in the outdoor industry, you'll start to understand some of the different focus areas in this type of work. Please pick three videos from different categories to watch. Think back to the personality quiz, are there paths that best suit your character traits? Make an effort to watch those videos. 

Each career path has its own page with overview information, interview videos with professionals, and follow-up activities. After watching your chosen videos, please complete one follow-up for the category of your choice.
