Welcome!
"Sharing Recipes" is an international eTwinning project in which students from Belgium, Catalonia and France explore each other’s cultures through food. Using English as a common language, we discover traditional dishes from a country that does not seem that far away, but still has some interesting differences.
In this project, students research typical Belgian, Catalan and French recipes, write and design recipe cards, and share the cultural background of each dish via text and video. Food becomes a way to communicate, compare cultures, and learn from one another.
This website is the result of an eTwinning collaboration for secondary schools. We hope it inspires you to learn more about Belgian, Catalan and French cuisine and maybe even try one of the recipes yourself!
Enjoy exploring our project! 🍽️✨

We are 18 first-year students in the fashion and sewing field, aged from 15 to 17. We are happy to take part in the Sharing dishes ! eTwinning project in the frame of our English class and we’re going to introduce different recipes of our typical starters, main courses and desserts from some regions of France.
Institut Santa Coloma de Farners – Catalonia (Spain)
We are a public secondary school located in Santa Coloma de Farners, a small town in Catalonia, in the northeast of Spain. Our town is surrounded by nature and is well known for its thermal waters.
At our institute, students can study compulsory secondary education (ESO), as well as post-compulsory studies, including upper secondary education (Batxillerat) and vocational training programmes.
For the Sharing Dishes project, we are participating with a group of 12 students aged 12 to 13, who are currently in the first years of secondary education.
We are really happy to be part of this eTwinning project and we are looking forward to learning from our Belgian and French partners, sharing our own traditions, and enjoying this cultural exchange together.
