They learnt all about where chocolate was first made, the process of making it both during the Mayan times and today and even got to make their very own chocolate!
The whole of Aston Lodge went on a local walk to our Central Methodist Church. Here, we performed poems, sang songs and spoke about why it is important for people to be thankful for harvest.
Well done to Amber, Harry & Emmie who have all acheived great things in their out-of-school sports and dancing teams!
Take a look on the website to see what they won!
Students from 6th form and Year 10 took part in the Alex Reid Memorial tournament hosted by Sheffield Girls High School.
They made us incredibly proud with their performance over the course of the morning, playing 6 games against some tough competition and overall they achieved 4 wins with 2 losses. There were some really close games where our students dug deep to fight and get the win placing the team 3rd overall.
Congratulations to Hayley in year 11 who was the proud recipient of the Well-Child Inspirational Young Person aged 12 to 14 Award.
This was awarded to Hayley for helping to raise money and awareness for the right equipment and for being involved in sport at a Pathway level.

We are so proud of this little superstar who has been helping in the community by litter picking. He has earned himself a pledge for Active Citizenship.
We regularly invite our parents into school to share some reading time with their children.
It's so lovely to see the children sharing their favourite stories.

In the last week of September, WPT Secondary Schools held their Y6 Open Evenings to mark the start of Y6 transition to secondary school.
We would like to thank all the members of staff who organised the evenings and ensured everything ran smoothly, and our student volunteers who helped to show visitors around the schools – you did a fantastic job in representing what your schools stand for.
Mrs Lawery has held the first school council meeting of this academic year. There have been some really good ideas for the future of Foljambe!
We are looking forward to seeing the ideas happen in school!
On Friday 6th October, Y6 pupils attended Crucial Crew.

Mr Shaw has been raising money for Motor Neurone Disease. Well done Mr Shaw.
From the 17-19th October, students at TGA put on a fantastic performance in their version of 'The Addams Family'.
Everyone should be so proud of their performances - well done! 🦇
We've continued with our Proud to be TGA initiative this half term. We want our students to be Proud of the work they accomplish and of the school they belong to. Our Proud Podium, Proud phone calls home, and Proud Plenaries are just some of the ways we have been accomplishing this.
Proud to be TGA.
As October is Black History month, we took part in the Great Big Live Assembly. This is a national celebration aimed to promote and celebrate the contributions of those with African and Caribbean heritage to British Society.
