Q: What is a custom tune and how does it work.

A: The custom tune mainly consists of re-calibrating ignition tables, fuel tables, transmission pressure and shift quality to ensure your vehicle is operating at its most efficient and reliable state.  This not only increases HP and TQ but increases reliability and fuel mileage.

Q: How long does the custom tuning take?

A: Typically 3-4 hours depending on level of modifications on the vehicle.

Q: Does the octane of my fuel make a difference? 87 vs 93 octane?

A: Most definitely, the octane of the fuel determines the amount of ignition timing under load that the engine can handle before pre-ignition.  The higher the octane, the more timing which equals more HP and TQ.
