Woyage (“the App”) is operated by Wibe Technologies (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we collect, use, and store your information.
By using Woyage, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Woyage collects information necessary to provide its location-based travel features, travel progress tracking, and treasure-hunt functionality.
Woyage allows users to access the application using a username. Registration does not currently require an email address, phone number, or third-party authentication.
We use your username to associate your profile with your travel progress and other application activity.
Woyage uses your device’s GPS location while the application is in use to support location-based features.
Location information is used to:
Determine your current city, state, and country.
Unlock travel achievements.
Verify eligibility for collecting places and treasures.
Track travel progress.
Identify nearby travel experiences.
Support location-based treasure hunts.
When a treasure is created, its associated geographic coordinates are stored on our servers so that the treasure’s location-based functionality can operate.
Your device’s location may also be processed to verify eligibility for location-based unlocking and update your progress.
Woyage does not continuously track your location in the background.
We store travel-related information associated with your username, which may include:
Countries visited.
States visited.
Cities visited.
Places collected.
Travel streaks.
Achievement progress.
Challenge participation.
Leaderboard rankings.
Treasure-hunt participation.
Treasures collected.
This information allows us to maintain your progress and provide the application’s features.
Woyage allows users to create treasure hunts and contribute content associated with them.
Depending on how you use the application, we may collect and store:
Treasure-hunt titles and descriptions.
Treasure descriptions and other submitted text.
Images uploaded for treasures.
Geographic coordinates associated with treasures and hunts.
Treasure-hunt invite codes and membership information.
The username of the content creator.
Treasure-hunt participation and collection records.
Treasure content, including descriptions, images, and associated geographic locations, may be visible to other Woyage users.
Users should not upload content containing sensitive personal information or information they do not want others to see.
If you report a treasure hunt or an individual treasure, we may collect information associated with the report, including the type and identifier of the reported content.
We use reports to help identify content that may violate our rules and support content moderation.
The application may receive technical information necessary to operate the service, such as:

Geographic coordinates associated with created treasures are stored on our servers and may be visible to other users.
We do not sell or rent location information to advertisers.
Your information is stored using cloud infrastructure operated by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Username-associated information, travel progress, treasure-hunt information, and other application data may be stored on our servers to provide the service.
Images uploaded through the application may be stored using cloud storage services.
We take reasonable measures to protect stored information and restrict unauthorized access.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. These may include:
Secure HTTPS communication.
Controlled server access.
Cloud infrastructure security.
Authentication and authorization checks for API requests.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Woyage uses third-party service providers to operate the application. These may include:
Amazon Web Services (AWS): Hosting and storage.
Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: Push notifications, where enabled.
These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services.
Woyage does not currently display third-party advertisements.
We do not currently collect advertising identifiers for advertising purposes.
Woyage does not currently use third-party analytics services to track user behaviour.
If our use of analytics changes materially, we will update this Privacy Policy where necessary.
Woyage is intended for users of all ages.
We collect information necessary to operate the application, including usernames, location information when permitted, travel progress, and content submitted by users.
Users should not upload sensitive personal information about children or other individuals as part of treasure hunts, descriptions, or images.
If you believe that information has been submitted that should be removed, please contact us using the details in Section 15.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Maintain user profiles and travel progress.
Provide treasure-hunt functionality.
Preserve achievements and collection records.
Maintain leaderboards.
Investigate reports and address misuse.
Operate and secure the application.

Information may be deleted when it is no longer required, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate operational needs.
Woyage currently uses usernames to associate users with their profiles and application activity. Registration does not require an email address, phone number, or third-party authentication.
Woyage does not currently provide an in-app profile-deletion option.
To request deletion of your profile and associated information, contact us at admin@wibe.co.in and provide your Woyage username so we can identify the relevant records.
Deletion requests are handled manually. We will review and process valid requests in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Certain information may be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may process or disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
Operate and maintain Woyage.
Provide hosting, storage, and notification services.
Investigate reports and address violations of our rules.
Protect users, the application, and our legal rights.
Comply with applicable laws or lawful requests.
Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, depending on the infrastructure and service providers used.
Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to ensure that such processing complies with relevant legal requirements.
Users are responsible for the content they create or upload to Woyage, subject to applicable law and our Terms and Conditions.
Users must not submit unlawful, abusive, threatening, fraudulent, sexually exploitative, discriminatory, or otherwise prohibited content.
Users must not use treasure hunts to encourage trespassing, dangerous behaviour, harassment, or other unlawful activities.
Woyage may investigate reports, restrict access to content, remove content, or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce our rules or comply with applicable law.
Users can report treasure hunts or individual treasures using the reporting functionality provided in the application.
Submitting a report does not guarantee that the reported content will be removed.
