Credits: 3 Time Range: 6-7 minutes Options: presentation or seminar
Due Date: can be presented in any week of any term up to Friday, T4 W3 (24 Oct)

WRITING PORTFOLIO ADAPTATION: Choose one of your portfolio pieces that you know has already earned an Achieved or higher for its idea development and make changes related to oral language features, using the help sheets in Google Classroom. Once you've modified the language, practise speaking the piece out loud, identifying the pace, volume, and pitch appropriate for the various sections. Carefully considered vocal expression can help you effectively convey emotion and emphasise your key points.
MAKING CONNECTIONS / CRITICAL TEXTS: After you've organised your main points, arranging them in the order you think will be most effective, revisit each section to add rhetorical flourishes and oral language features, using the help sheets in Google Classroom. Once you've modified the language so it's engaging for an audience to listen to, practise speaking the piece out loud, identifying the pace, volume, and pitch appropriate for the various sections. Carefully considered vocal expression can help you effectively convey emotion and emphasise your key points.
