Having received the Gold Key Award at the state level for his self-portrait, Luke Dunlap of King Philip Middle School went on to win the Silver Medal at the national level. Congratulations!

Art Students Win Scholastic 2018 Awards

Please join the Art Department in congratulating and celebrating the following Bristow, Conard, and King Phillip art students. They are 2018 Scholastic Visual Arts Awardees. The mission of the Scholastic Art awards is to is to identify students with exceptional artistic talent and present their remarkable work to the world. These award winners are a testament to our incredible visual arts program, our exceptional students, and their vision! This 2018 Scholastic Visual Arts Exhibition is a highly competitive, statewide juried show sponsored by the Connecticut Art Education Association. The awards ceremony was held on January 28, at the Lincoln Theater at the University of Hartford.
