Each even-numbered year, an opening reception is held to celebrate and recognize student artists from every public school in the District.  This show offers the opportunity to view outstanding student artwork and to meet the young artists and their teachers. The 2020 Permanent Collection is an impressive reflection of the fine instruction and  commitment to high standards that occurs in our well-supported program. The young artists have generously donated their work to be a permanent part of the WHPS collection.

During these challenging times it is a comfort to know that we can still connect with this beautiful show through online resources. In the coming weeks, the framed artwork will be installed on the 4th floor of Town Hall, just outside the elevators, where it will remain until 2022.
