• Explore types of data, ways to analyze data, how to identify bias and uncertainty in data, and the impact of data in society.

Tools:  will use various platforms to build introductory programming and data science skills including Pyret

Prerequisite: Algebra I, though students may take Algebra I and this at the same time

Credits:

• 0.5 credit / half year course

• fulfills Math or STEM graduation requirement

This course is perfect for someone who is interested in an introduction to how we can combine math, statistics, and computer science to explore our world.
