Group Action: Students created a slide presentation to teach others about the issue of banning books. Students also created a banned books display and encouraged others to read banned books during Banned Books Week.

Banned Books Pamphlet 

Group Action: Students created a slideshow and puppet show to teach others about deforestation. They also shared a flyer about how to plant acorn and maple helicopter seeds. Students shared different types of seeds and tree saplings and how to plant and take care of them.

Group Action: Students in this group created a slideshow and display to teach others about endangered animals in our area and globally, and what we can do to help. They also taught others what to do if they came across an injured animal, and who to contact.

Group Action: Students in this group raised awareness about creating a safe and inclusive community for LGBTQ+ individuals. They designed a flyer with a QR code to share about local Pride events.

Skit to teach about using correct pronouns

Group Action: Students taught others in our school community how to recycle properly. They created new recycling/trash flyers that teachers can hang near the bins in their classrooms. They also created a sorting game to teach others about proper recycling.
