BEFORE THE CALL

• All guests you have invited need to RSVP via the Google form above

• If you want to add a background, follow the directions below

• If possible, a business casual top would be preferable 

• Reduce distractions by turning off your phone during the meeting.  If using your phone, turn on focus mode/do not disturb settings to silence notifications

• To improve bandwidth, aside from Zoom (of course) close all open windows and tabs on your computer

SIGNING ON TO THE CALL

• Make sure you name has been changed to your First and Last name (e.g. not “John’s iPhone) and your city (e.g. John Smith - Long Beach)

• Latecomers will only be admitted from the waiting room only if they have RSVP’d and at an opportune time in the meeting 

DURING THE CALL

• If you cannot be stationary during the visit, it will be best to keep your camera off

• As much as possible, keep your camera on and present yourself as open and receptive to what each person is saying

• Stay on mute, unless speaking or in conversation

• Try to be in a place where other people will not be walking behind you to disrupt your background

PREPARACIÓN ANTES DE LA LLAMADA 

• Todos los invitados deben confirmar su asistencia a través del formulario anterior de Google

• Si desea agregar el fondo visual para estar en la llamada, siga las siguientes instrucciones

• Evite distracciones apagando su celular durante la llamada.  Si usa su celular, vaya a Ajustes y busque Focus para que ponga el celular en el modo de "No Molestar"  así se silenciaran sus notificaciones 

• Para mejorar la conexión, deje solo el Zoom abierto, cierre  los programas y otras aplicaciones en su computadora

ANTES DE UNIRSE A LA LLAMADA 

• Asegúrese que su pantalla refleje su nombre y apellido (ex. Juan Perez) (no “Juan’s iPhone) y su ciudad (por ejemplo, John Smith - Long Beach)

• Si llega tarde y comenzó la reunión, podrá ser admitido del cuarto de espera solo si confirmo su participación y a un tiempo durante la reunion que sea prudente 

DURANTE LA LLAMADA 

• Si conecto de un lugar que es móvil (no se encuentra en un lugar fijo, sería mejor que mantenga su cámara apagada. 

• Pero en lo posible, la preferencia es que mantenga su cámara prendida para estar presente y receptivo a lo que las personas están diciendo.

• Manténgase con el micrófono apagado (mute) durante la llamada 

• Trate de estar en un lugar privado donde las personas no caminen detrás suyo para evitar  distracciones en su fondo de pantalla
