I am one of three kindergarten teachers here at Sorensen Science Academy. This will be my 22nd year teaching kindergarten at Sorensen. I graduated from CSULB in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development and in 2003 I received my Multiple Subjects teaching credential from CSUDH.

Since 2005, I've been living in the city of Whittier with my wonderful husband, Rudy. I grew up in Monterey Park and attended Schurr High School. When I am not teaching, I enjoy running( I'm a Whittier Pacer), watching t.v., and going to the movies. My husband and I are Dodger and Laker fans. We also enjoy traveling. Every year we go to Vegas at least three times and spend one week in Cancun, Mexico.
